WOW!!! What a night I had on Saturday night at Coopers Saloon. The phenomenal music show started out with Johnny Dilks playing wonderful western swing. Johnny and his band are from the Bay Area and they know how to get the house moving. Then Danny Click and his band took the stage and double WOW. The music they play is a loud, saucy blues-inflected rock and roll, and play they did. I’m surprised there is still a roof on Coopers Bar after his show. Danny Click is from Austin, TX and the band he had with him was mostly from the Bay Area. I danced my ass off and had more fun than in a long time. I feel so fortunate to live in Nevada City with all this outstanding local music.
